«Οδύσσεια» χθες το πρωί, για μωρό 22 μηνών από τη Σκιάθο, που αντιμετωπίζει σοβαρά παθολογικά προβλήματα και την οικογένειά του.
Βασική
αιτία, η έλλειψη Μονάδας Εντατικής Θεραπείας Παίδων στη Θεσσαλία. Το
μωρό από τη Σκιάθο βρέθηκε αεροπορικώς στη Λάρισα και αργότερα σε
νοσοκομείο της Αθήνας! Συγκεκριμένα, με στρατιωτικό ελικόπτερο, που
προσγειώθηκε στο ελικοδρόμιο του Πανεπιστημιακού Νοσοκομείου Λάρισας,
χθες το πρωί, το κοριτσάκι μεταφέρθηκε στην Πανεπιστημιακή Παιδιατρική
Κλινική και διασωληνώθηκε. Αργότερα, λόγω της έλλειψης της ΜΕΘ, το παιδί
μεταφέρθηκε στο Νοσοκομείο Πεντέλης στην Αθήνα.
Ως γνωστόν, το θέμα της έλλειψης της ΜΕΘ, ταλανίζει από χρόνια την περιοχή και πολλά παιδιά μεταφέρονται, με ό,τι
αυτό συνεπάγεται, σε νοσοκομεία της Αθήνας και της Θεσσαλονίκης. Μεγάλη
ευκαιρία χάθηκε και για τη Θεσσαλία, με τη δωρεά του ιδρύματος Νιάρχου,
που δεν αξιοποιήθηκε...
