Περιμένοντας την απολογία του Π. Ίγνατιου....

Στις 3:30μ.μ. παρουσιάστηκε στο Επισκοπείο μαζί με άλλους Μοναχούς για να απολογηθεί.
Μόλις
πληροφορήθηκαν οι κάτοικοι της Ναυπάκτου το λόγο που παρουσιάστηκαν οι
Μοναχοί στη Μητρόπολη ξεσηκώθηκαν και τουλάχιστον 150 άτομα περικύκλωσαν
το Επισκοπείο Ναυπάκτου, φωνάζοντας να φύγει ο Μητροπολίτης Ναυπάκτου
Ιερόθεος από τη Ναύπακτο ως ανεπιθύμητος και ως πολέμιος της Μονής
Μεταμορφώσεως την οποία έχτισε ο Ναυπακτιακός λαός.
Φωνές ακουγόντουσαν σε όλη την Ναύπακτο ρυθμικά λέγοντας ΑΝΑΞΙΟΣ.
Τα αίματα άναψαν όταν εμφανίστηκε ο πατήρ Θεμιστοκλής και ο πατήρ Καλλίνικος, δεξιά χέρια του Μητροπολίτου Ναυπάκτου.
Το πλήθος άρπαξε από τα γένια τον π. Θεμιστοκλή πετώντας των στο έδαφος.
Ο δε Ιερομόναχος Καλλίνικος πρόλαβε και τράπηκε σε φυγή.
Ειδοποιήθηκαν
Αστυνομικές δυνάμεις από το Αστυνομικό τμήμα Ναυπάκτου και με
ενισχύσεις από την αστυνομία Μεσολογγίου για να προστατέψουν τον
Μητροπολίτη και τους κληρικούς που έχει φέρει μαζί του.
Αυτήν
τη στιγμή πληροφορίες που λαμβάνουμε μας αναφέρουν ότι, δε θα αφήσουν
να λειτουργήσει ξανά ο Μητροπολίτης μόνο με τα ΜΑΤ και την Αστυνομία θα
μπορεί να λειτουργεί.
Δυστυχώς
Γεγονότα που βιώσαμε τις προηγούμενες δεκαετίες στη Μητρόπολη Λαρίσης
και Μητρόπολη Αττικής, αναβιώνουν τώρα στην Ναύπακτο.
Οι
κάτοικοι λένε ότι, ο Μητροπολίτης προκαλεί το λαό με τα όσα κάνει εις
βάρος της Μονής Μεταμορφώσεως ,η λύσεις όπως μας ενημερώνουν οι
αγανακτισμένοι πολίτες είναι δύο ή να αλλάξει τακτική ή να παραιτηθεί
από την Μητρόπολη Ναυπάκτου και να πάει σε άλλη Μητρόπολη, εάν βέβαια
τον δέχονται αλλού.
